Membership Application & Payment
Members:
Anyone who has benefited from the knowledge of the method and wishes to support our work or volunteer with us. Assist with steering, hosting workshops, fundraising, promotions, media, etc. Part One Teacher Training encouraged, but not required.
The Aims and Objectives of the Natural Family Planning Association (Alberta), WOOMB Canada and WOOMB International:
1. Enrich the union between husband and wife by teaching them the Billings Ovulation Method®, which they can use to develop their love and fidelity.
2. Encourage parents (as well as future parents) to meet their responsibilities to each other and their children by giving them insights that help nurture unselfish love.
3. Promote and teach the method to:
• help couples who wish to have children;
• help couples who wish to avoid pregnancy;
• help women understand their fertility and monitor their reproductive health.
4. Teach all who seek information about the method to make observations and interpretations for the identification of fertility, infertility, and reproductive health.
5. Teach men how to support their wives in using the method.
6. Promote acceptance of a pregnancy not deliberately planned, so that the child will be welcomed and loved.
7. Uphold the belief that husband and wife have sole right to determine in conscience how many children they will have.
8. Encourage continuing research into the method, human fertility, and reproductive health.

Board of Directors:
Members who guide decision making and activities of the Association. Any Member can be nominated.
Accredited Teachers:
These Members provide personalized and confidential fertility education to couples desiring knowledge of the Billings Ovulation Method®. Required: Basic Teacher Training Part One & Part Two, Exam, Practicum. Extension & Advanced Training recommended, with sufficient field experience.
Associate Members
These Members help to spread awareness about the Billings Ovulation Method®. They can offer information sessions and presentations, they do not conduct private chart consultations with clients. Recommended: Basic Teacher Training Part One
Health Affiliates: Health care providers with knowledge of the diagnostic applications of the Billings Ovulation Method®, to whom Accredited Teachers can refer clients for appropriate health care. Required: Workshops Part One & Two, Extension Training recommended.
